Classical Ensembles   Performance Schedule

The Classical Ensemble performs seven days a week. A typical cruise line contract will stipulate the maximum number of hours you are required to work weekly, usually between 35 and 42 hours.
The schedule is organized on a daily basis by the Cruise Director and left to his/her discretion. In general, you will play in one of the dining rooms at night as well as for some scheduled activities during the day, such as embarkation, tea time, and cocktail time. The Classical Ensemble may also be asked to perform some 30 or 45 minutes concerts. There are no salary provisions for overtime.

An example of a day's schedule may be:

* 2:00 to 3:00 pm : embarkation set
* 6:00 to 7:00 pm : cocktail set sets from
* 7:30 to 8:15 pm: dining room
