Cocktail Pianist

     The Cocktail Pianist is :

* a solo pianist who does not sing playing light background music in the dining room and in one of the lounges;

* a solo pianist who sings and accompanies himself on piano, with or without sequencing equipment, and entertains guests in a piano bar type lounge;

* an instrumentalist, usually a guitarist, who sings and accompanies himself with sequencing equipment to sound like a full band (one-man band), who entertains guests in one of the lounges.

The Cocktail Pianist should be able to play a wide variety of styles. The cocktail pianist is under the supervision of the ship's Musical Director or Cruise Director whose responsibilities include scheduling.
