The ideal candidate is able to perform lively and animated dance sets, as well as some easy listening music. A large repertoire, including contemporary, 50's & 60's rock'n roll, ballroom, and country, is required. The ability to play passenger's special requests is a definite asset. The duo should also be an asset to the ship's entertainment department by exhibiting a professional attitude and exemplary conduct at all times.
The ability to make announcements, advertise ship activities while on the bandstand, and keep customers coming back night after night is a definite must. Conversational English and a pleasant disposition are compulsory. Candidates should enjoy performing and should *look* like they enjoy performing. Extensive performing experience, such as hotel, wedding and convention work is required. Ship experience is a plus.
