Island Band
(solo, duo, trio, quartet)
The Island Band is well versed in all styles of Caribbean music
and features the instrument "par excellence" of the
Caribbean: the steel pan. Strong lead vocals and rich harmonies
are also part of the band's charms. The band performs mainly
at poolside and in the discotheque, but may be asked to play
for other events as well. The band is under the supervision
of the ship's Musical Director or Cruise Director, whose responsibilities
include scheduling.
