Strolling Musicians
Performance Schedule
Strolling musicians perform seven days a week. A typical cruise
line contract will stipulate the maximum number of hours you
are required to work weekly, usually between 35 to 42 hours
a week. The schedule is organized on a daily basis by the cruise
director and left to his discretion. In general, you will be
playing in one of the dining rooms at night and for some scheduled
activities such as embarkation , tea time, and cocktail time.
There are no salary provisions for overtime.
A typical day's schedule might be :
* 2 to 3 pm: Embarkation
* 6 to 7 pm: Cocktails
* 7:30 to 8:15 pm: Dining room
* 9:00 to 9:45 pm: Dining room
